After studying Architecture and Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, I pursued a career in the business world. My passion for design and creating was a hobby that I wove throughout his career. I am so thankful to have the opportunity now to focus on this passion and mission.

 

Branded as CHARLES GABLE DESIGNS, my inspiration comes from the passion of rescuing and reclaiming things of old and giving them new life and a new purpose. My furniture and accessories are created from items rescued from demolished buildings, Flea Markets, Trade Days, farms.... you name it.

 

Many of my pieces are commissioned from clients like you who have a special bond with an era or item. For example, we designed and built a Farm Table for a client using barn wood from her family farm in Arkansas. She had so many fond memories of playing in that old barn, she wanted a piece of it in her home.  Belief is that we should preserve what we can instead of living in a "disposable" society.
